Beeleigh Weir (Google Maps)
Summary:
A nice easy introduction to river paddling. Fairly scenic, with a couple of locks/weirs along the route, which are easily avoided. The graphic, below, shows the route we took from Hoe Mill Lock to Beeleigh Weir and back, a round trip of 4.5 miles – one portage is required to get around one lock.
