2011 has been a very busy year for the club, with many trips being run, both by the club and also by individual members. It was great to see all disciplines were actively undertaken by an ever-increasing number of enthusiastic club members, both young and old.
Due to the number of trips shown in the gallery this year, we have split them into 3 sections.
2011 River Trips shows reports and photos of the club BBQ at Heybridge, trips from Papermill Lock, the Blackwater, River Severn, Bungay and Sudbury to the sea.
Kayak Bures to Anchor Pub River Stour
2011 Sea Trips shows a number of Sea Kayak tours, on the Orwell estuary, around Anglesea and Wallasea island, plus the surf trips to Saunton Sands and Frinton.
Heading for the Orwell Bridge
2011 Safety Kayaks shows a new area of interest for the club, providing safety kayaks for local sporting events such as The Great Eastern Swim, The Great London Swim and the Maldon Triathlon. Pictures of our recent FSRT training courses are also included.
