Safety Kayaks has been an interesting new area for the club to be involved with. We have actively been encouraging club members to attend local Foundation Safety & Rescue Training (FSRT) courses, which is a prerequisite for anyone that wants to volunteer for Safety Kayaks. A number of club members have taken part in 2 FSRT courses this year, both of which are shown in the photo gallery here.

Local sporting events, such as triathlons, distance and charity swim events regularly need Safety Kayaks to provide support and rescue capabilities. We have taken part in 3 such events this year, which also helps provide necessary funds for the club. Photos from these are shown in the gallery here.
