The Canolfan Tryweryn have just announced the dates for this years Tryweryn Festival. Tickets will go live in the next few weeks with a special early ticket price; I will post when the tickets are available.
The Tryweryn is a great grade 3 river and a good step-up from the Lee Valley Legacy course. While this river is carefully managed to make this a safe, if a little shallow environment. The river maintains a natural feel which makes it a great alternative to the man made courses of Lee Valley, Nene, HPP, CIWW, etc during the summer.
The weather is normally great this time of year, with a party on the Saturday night. Last time I went the campsite next to the river was a great place to stay for the weekend. I will be looking in to this as well as the nearby bunk houses. Please let me know if you are interested in going and if you have an accommodation preference?
