Sea Paddle On The Deben Estuary, Sunday 4th September 2016

It would be nice to get out and explore our estuaries and breathe in some fresh sea air, so on Sunday 4th September 2016 we are organising a paddle on the River Deben. This paddle is open to club members only.

This is a short paddle of 3.4 miles each way (6.8 mile round trip) on one of East Anglia’s prettiest estuaries and the whole trip should take less than 5 hours. The trip will take us from halfway up the river at Waldringfield in Suffolk to the head of the river at the historic town of Woodbridge, Suffolk. We will be going up the river to Woodbridge with the incoming tide and after stopping for refreshments, to stretch our legs and waiting for the tide to turn we will return to Waldringfield with the ebb tide.
