Sunday 29th October is almost Halloween so there is an evening paddle proposed from Dedham to Flatford Mill and back again. We plan to meet at 4pm in the riverside car park. This is a nice flat river paddle suitable for beginners particularly the younger club members. We will be paddling in failing light so glow sticks are essential, Halloween decorations are optional ! As always you will not be allowed to paddle without a bouyancy aid and if with a child you will need to sign a parental responsibility form.
Hopefully the river will be fairly quiet and as the light fades we may even see some bats flying around. Feel free to pimp your kayak or canoe and come along for some fun.
If you need to borrow a boat you will need to contact David or Kevin who are the equipment officers. Any questions or to let me know you are interested email Jacquie at email@example.com.
On Saturday 14th October two of our club members will be getting married. On behalf of the club the committee would like to wish Allan Grace and Susan Young all the very best for their future together. Have a great day on Saturday. If anyone wishes to go along to Isaacs on the quay in Ipswich to join the celebrations you are most welcome from 4pm onwards.
Have a great day!

Sadly it does look like we may not get the best of the weather but we’re a hardy and resourceful bunch so I think we’ll have a good time anyway !😀
See you tomorrow!
