Christmas Cambridge Backs Paddle!

A festive club group… 17th December

Paddle from Byron's Pond, Grantchester CB2 9LJ to Jesus Green, Cambridge, returning to Byron's Pond. Estimated journey time:5hrs, approx paddle distance:10km. A flat, sheltered water paddle with one portage avoiding prohibited weir.

Planned rest point at Jesus Green (halfway point) for refreshments before continuing with the return journey. Suitable for novice paddlers and above.

As this trip is being run in December it is advisable that participants wear suitable warm clothing for the conditions as well bringing with them hot drinks and food / snacks.

The Trip Leader is strongly advising that all members who are wishing to participate in this group paddle to read the associated risk assessment.
