Paddle Awards have now STARTed

Congratulations to Sebastian Murray for achieving his British Canoeing recognised Paddle 'Start' Award.

Having now gained his first of three Paddle Awards, Seb has now learnt some useful skills for an enjoyable paddling experience. He now feels safe and confident on the water.

Next up for Seb is the 'Discover Award' which will take him on the next steps to becoming an independent paddler.

The third and final award is the Paddle 'Explore' Award which recognises your ability to independently paddle your chosen craft in a sheltered water environment.

The Paddle Awards are for those new to paddlesport, enabling you to develop the skills to feel confident and safe on sheltered water in your chosen paddling craft. So whether you're getting into a boat for the first time or looking to develop your skills, there's something for everyone.
